Buying an Original Painting from JAN
Thank you for your interest in owning an original work of art. Purchasing a painting is a meaningful decision, and I want to make the process as clear and comfortable as possible for you.
Step 1 — Choose Your Painting
Browse the collection and take your time. Each painting is a one-of-a-kind original — once it's sold, it's gone. If you'd like to see additional photos, a size reference, or a video of the work, feel free to contact me directly before purchasing.
Step 2 — Add to Cart & Checkout
When you're ready, click Add to Cart and proceed to checkout. The checkout process is fully secured and encrypted. You can pay via:
- PayFast — South Africa's leading payment gateway, supporting credit/debit cards, Instant EFT, and more
- Bank Deposit (EFT) — Direct bank transfer; your order will be confirmed once payment reflects

Own the artwork you love today and pay over time with 0% interest for up to 6 months.
Your artwork will be delivered after the final payment has been received, or you are welcome to collect it in person. Please contact me directly to arrange your Laybuy payment plan.

Step 3 — Packaging & Shipping
Every painting is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely. I use Dawn Wing Couriers for reliable, tracked delivery across South Africa.
- You will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched
- Delivery typically takes 3–5 business days depending on your location
- For international inquiries, please contact me to discuss shipping options
Authenticity & Certificate of Authenticity
Every original painting purchased from JAN Artist comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This document confirms:
- The title and date of the work
- The medium and materials used
- That the work is an original, hand-painted piece by the artist JAN
This certificate adds lasting value to your artwork and is important for insurance and resale purposes.
