A Fragile Balance

A figure sits on a chair too small for them, an image of instability and quiet fear. Above, a tiny bee sits in contrast - a small flicker of hope inside the anxiety.

JAN builds the piece with expressive brushwork and fragmented colour: cool blues for isolation, warm tones for energy. It’s about the fear of losing control, and the weight we carry without ever quite naming it.

Hand-painted original, signed with a Certificate of Authenticity. Part of JAN’s ongoing expressionist work on identity and what it means to be human.
