Whisper of Grace

A quiet piece, sitting somewhere between stillness and movement, strength and vulnerability. The figure is folded gently into itself, a posture of reflection and calm.

A hummingbird rests beside it, small but full of energy - in many cultures a sign of lightness and resilience, of moments that don’t last but matter anyway. Behind the figure, sweeping strokes of red, yellow and blue form a kind of halo in motion.

JAN’s brushwork lets the body emerge from that movement while staying grounded and still - quiet strength, and the gentleness it can carry.
